My biggest problem is that I tend to create a blog while I have excess time on my hands, thinking that I tend to have this kind of time normally. That is not the case. However, here’s another project that I have completed and am proud of!
This is my honey badger cross-stitch that I have made for our apartment. I pretty much drew out my own pattern, based (well actually probably just stolen) from one I saw on etsy. I had never cross stitched anything before, and now that this little beauty is framed and hanging in our kitchen, it’s great!
I am creating this blog as a venue for showing my friends different crafts I complete, furniture I fix up, and various beauty tricks I come across. I believe that even girly girls should know how to use a power drill and that independence and intelligence are a girls best asset.
To start off, I wanted to share a design I painted on my nails last night!
(Basecoat: Orly Bonder)
Sinful Colors- Easy Going
Sally Hansen- Gunmetal
Wet ‘n’ Wild- Silver Glitter
OPI- Alpine Snow
(Topcoat: Essie- Matte About You)
It’s a really easy design that has gotten lots of compliments I heard about this matte topcoat from a friend who does lots of great nail art, and had to try it for myself. Overall, I think the matte finish is really cool, but it chips VERY easily so it really does seem better for one-day use.
See you next time!
